Kevin Lilly has worked for decades in the health care industry. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of sales at MiMedx, a biopharmaceutical company located in Marietta, Georgia. From 2001 to 2005, Kevin Lilly worked as VP of global sales and marketing at SpectRX, a diabetes management company. During his tenure, the company introduced the SimpleChoice Easy Pro Infusion Set, which was a part of the SimpleChoice family of diabetes management products.
.
The Easy Pro Infusion Set was a 30-degree infusion set that was made to help diabetes patients who wore the Paradigm insulin pumps by Medtronic. SpextRx made the SimpleChoice Easy Pro set in two variants, 23 and 43-inch, which worked with the Sil-Serter insertion device.
SpectRx’s SimpleChoice Easy Pro infusion sets were equipped with water-resistant tape. They also featured a stable insertion site and the choice between 17 and 12mm catheters. The 12mm option used in the Easy Pro infusion sets was around 25 percent shorter than the standard option and less invasive. One of the main advantages of the Easy Pro set was disconnection at the insertion point.
